About Paisavy & how we're funded
Paisavy is a free website about money in India. It helps you see what you can spend, what a loan really costs and what to do next. Our tools use your own numbers. Our guides are in plain English and हिंदी.
Who pays for it
Paisavy is a free project. It has no outside funding: no investors, sponsors or advertisers pay for it.
We don’t take money from lenders, insurers or investment apps. They don’t pay us when you click, borrow or buy, and they can’t pay to appear on our pages. We never sell your details to anyone.
If a partner ever funds us, for example an NGO or an employer’s staff-wellbeing programme, we’ll name them here and say what they paid for. They won’t get any say over our tools or guides.
What we will never do
- Show loan offers, “apply now” buttons or ads from lenders.
- Rank or recommend lenders. Our microfinance list is sorted A–Z.
- Sell or share your answers. The tools work on your own phone or computer (see Privacy).
- Ask for your OTP, UPI PIN, PAN, Aadhaar or bank password. If someone asks for these “from Paisavy”, it’s a fraud.
- Tell you “you can afford it”. We show what your numbers say today, and no calculator can promise the future.
Nobody buys our opinions
Nobody can pay to change how a calculator works, what a guide says or the order of the lender list. Our Editorial policy explains how we write and check every page. When we get something wrong, we fix it in the open and list it in our Corrections log.
